High MAP pressures at idle, 2019 Camaro 2SS

    Hey all,

Tuning a car for a buddy, and I've ran into some hiccups in the process. I'll post tune and log files. 2019 Camaro 2SS, A10, BTR Stage 2 Supercharger Cam (car is currently NA, but has plans for boost later on) with all supporting mods, Chevy Performance manifolds, stock exhaust, stock intake, LT5 throttle body. Car starts no issue, but cold start idle is much lower than desired idle, and goes deep into negative timing and backfires for ~20 seconds, then the idle jumps to 1300-1500, timing goes back positive, and then settles down and everything is fine. However, idle MAP numbers are ~76-82 kPa, which is pretty high for an NA build, I think. When throttle is blipped, pressure goes down to ~40-50 kPa (which is feel is where it should idle). He does have the LT5 throttle body with adapter plate and stock intake manifold, not sure if that affects anything. Inspected for vacuum leaks and could find none, he's inspecting his plugs now since his lambda was bouncing around 1.1-1.2. Just reaching out here to have a second set of eyes on the tunes I built and the logs to see if there's anything I missed, and for any feedback on potential changes. Wanna eliminate it being an issue with the tune. Thanks!

Did this every get solved? its 100% tune related issue because of the LT5 TB. Was curious what got updated and how you fixed it.

Sounds like base startup airflow is too high

Apologies for the late reply here, life has been all over the place with me moving internationally. Problems have been solved! Found the correct data for the throttle body, rescaled the MAF curve, VE and VT tables were properly adjusted, and some small changes to his immediate and predicted adaptive idle to keep the throttle swings to a minimum. Now to solve my own idle issues on my ZL1. What a nightmare that's been recently.
