Can I upload certain parts of a tune? How long is it supposed to take to tune?

Hey everyone.

I have the MPVI 3, it takes a solid 5-6 minutes to upload a tune every single time to my 06 Dodge Ram, is this purely an ECU thing, or is there a way to upload a certain part of a tune rather than the entire file?

For example if I were to only adjust the timing table, can I just upload that portion?
