Hi everyone
i have an 07 charger srt8, the transmission is shuddering in 1st gear then goes thru 2 and 3 perfect then tries for 4 and nothing happens and sticks in 3rd pulled trans found K3 clutches smoked rebuilt trans myself and had same issue took trans to trans shop to be rebuilt put back in car and doing the same thing..i rang out all wires from tcm to trans they are good I was thinking of trying to up the trans pressures to try to hold the k3 clutch better . can anyone guide me in that direction or show me a tune that has shift pressures upped possibly? maybe the tcm is bad but i figured to try this first as getting my tcm rebuilt is $450

if the tcm is bad hhp sells one for $650

it shows up with a pretty wicked tune loaded in it too : )

that tune will not have been tailor-made for your vehicle tho

i just checked... they are up to 760 now

BUT, you would be killing two birds with one purchase (known good controller and known good tune)

if you just want the tune send me a email

that would be my first step in troubleshooting it

That looks to be a stock engine and trans calibration? It should not be smoking the transmission at stock power levels. Not a tune issue.

But, this quick cal change should give you much more 3-4 shift application speed, maybe it could help not go into limp mode (stuck in 3rd) on the 3-4 shift.

Does it fail the 3-4 shift at high throttle, or just every throttle position?
