Big Turbo Tune
Good afternoon!
Posting my log up here in hopes of some criticism.
I am attempting to tune a 2019 lightweight F350 with a Pusher intake system and an SPE Strike stage 2. I have it running pretty well, but I struggle with the fine line between Boost Setpoint and the Boost Control Upper limit. I cannot see my actual vane position; that's reading a solid 2.7% at all times, so I have been adjusting based on MAP/EBP and have gotten a majority of it to be 1.2:1 and below.
However, there are some high spots 1.4-1.6:1 that I am noticing the excess exhaust pressure is causing my oil temp to rise very quickly. In these higher cells, if the commanded vane position is at that cell's specific max, I raise both the setpoint and max, If it is below the setpoint, I lower both the setpoint and max. Is that the correct way to adjust?
