    Question about torque converter lockup

So when youre setting your lockup, is the setting for the MPH when it locks or the TPS setting? Im trying to get my 2800 FTI to lock in 4th 5th and 6th. 5th and 6th are perfect for me. But 4th I want it to lock about 4mph after it shifts into 4th gear, but only at the higher end of the gear, if that makes sense. So if I set all to 31, is that the TPS in which it will lock, or the mph?

Most of my issues have to do with the torque converter locking at low speeds....and with the a/c on. above 60-65mph its good.

The apply table (TCM 15223) is looking at 3 values. The gear that the trans. is currently in, the throttle pos. sensor percentage, and the MPH. If you are only wanting to change the schedule in 4th gear then you only work in that row of the table. Typically as the TPS goes up, so does the MPH.
