    Tuning while car is running

    this may be dumb but is it possible to tune idle while the car is running?

    No, not really. Some of the early LS cars had RTT (real time tuning) that did let you do a few things with the car running but it wasn't a lot. Anything else never had live tuning available.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    engine at idle

    i click write

    the suite erases every table in the calibration from my controller, and then takes 30 seconds to 5 mins to write them back to it

    what could possibly go wrong?

    With an ETK and instrumented ECU...yes

    and you could run a chevy engine in a top fuel car if the chevy engine was a chrysler

    but you cant

    because a chevy engine is a not a chrysler engine

    nor will it ever be.

    I'm fine with this. There was only one engine I worked on at Chrysler that I was actually proud to have my name on. The rest were just....Chrysler junk. lol
