Question Interface transfer to new computer

Had a question if anyone could help me out. I barrowed a friends computer with hp tuners and his interface to unlock my ecu in my Silverado. Paid credits to unlock and tune it for a cam swap. Now I'm going back stock and need to swap back the original file but his computer stopped working. So I was wondering what is need or how to use the interface on a new computer or how to transfer a unlock ecu to a new interface. Thanks for any help.

you can write with any computer that meets the requirements

the interface is lic to the serial number of the ecu

but if your stock file has been lost you will need to create a stock like tune

    tons of chevy guys here

i am not one of them

*first you need to read what is in it now

okay, I have other tunes and the factory tune aswell on my computer I just didnt know what was needed to use the interface on a new computer other than windows drivers. Also do you have to login or authenticate the interface on a new pc?

    USB to USB-C cable

C: > Program files > HP Tuners > VCM Editor > Help > Resync interface
