    Starter signal generator?

With a gpec2 swap into an older a body duster, what is the solution for the "starter signal generator/SSR module"?

I understand the security can be turned off. But I'm not understanding this SSR thing.

The plan is to use a 2014 challenger RT Manual Trans computer with the security turned off in the tune. Will that also avoid the need for the module mentioned above?

There is no such thing. The BCM module from the car is what sends the signal after getting a permissive from the skim. The signal is sent through a canbus code. At one point in time there was a business that sold a module that would replicate the signal. Your only other option is to use all the modules that are required to get the signal the way the factory does. I have actually seen these setups for sale on eBay.

The only way I could find that would negate the need for the start signal would be to get a crate engine PCM. There are a couple companies out there that can reflash to that. But IMO it starts getting to the point where factory engine management is costs prohibitive.

Myself I have decided to go with an earlier NGC controller and swap tone rings on the crank, or just go with a pre eagle block and use my eagle heads.

Make a short answer: I was looking for a module that doesn't exist.
