Hey everyone! New around here, but I have been working with tuning and PCM repairs for quite a while now.

I have got a quick question I am hoping someone can help with. I recently picked up a 2004 Wrangler that came without a PCM (lucky me, right?). Around here in Australia, a second-hand one goes for about $1500 bit steep if you ask me.

But here is where it gets interesting: my neighbour at the wreckers (absolute legend) gave me a PCM from a 2004 Cherokee 2.4 and It is an NGC3 unit just like the Wrangler would use, but obviously with the wrong software inside.

So here is the big question? if I flash the Wrangler map onto this Cherokee PCM, will it work? Or am I dreaming? I I am also on the hunt for a 2004 Wrangler 6-speed manual ECU file if anyone has one lying around in a dusty old folder somewhere.

HP tuners can not flash calibrations only changes to current calibration. however if the calibrations are similar you can compare to the file and make necessary changes needed for that combination.

at .64 conversion, 1500 AUD same damn thing

is what it is...

i would put a big block wedge motor in it before i spent a grand on a NC3 controller : )
