    Help needed with L5P files.

I have a few tuned L5P files off of different trucks and I was wondering what all I needed to change in the file to write that file directly to another L5P truck, same year and mods. Would a write entire work without changing anything? I don't have the option to change the vin on these files, though it may be because I have not licensed them yet. I may be way over thinking this, just trying not to brick a ecm.

So the issue here is, yes the file will work if you write entire. But not only do you have to spend 8 credits to license the truck you are tuning, you also have to license the file you are going to load. Make sure you have a really good wifi connection and if it says reduced engine power before you even start it, stop there and flash it again.

If you send me the files I can help you out so you can use them on multiple trucks

Is there a way to write my own tune and disable things after I read my 18?

This is a terrible suggestion. You need to use the segments that are flashed in the truck and not some random file.

    Isn't that the truth!
You'd think a guy with a name like "L5P Tuner" wouldn't be ramming files in all willy-nilly.
