What are you guys going to get more pops in the decel? I have a customer that needs it in his life. I tried pulling the timing down on the the part throttle spark tables and the minimum spark and it didn't do it. The idle would get stuck sometimes too at a higher rpm when I would rev it. Wouldn't come back down. Just a stock 5.7

Any luck on this? I was wanting to do the same on my 6mt R/T 5.7. I managed to get some nice little burbles on decel but for some reason when it goes into the negative timing range it bucks real hard and if I clutch in it revs REALLY high to like 3500 to 4000 and hangs there till i stop the car. Good news to anyone that wants it. I figured it out. needed to change an MBT table and it fixed everything.

that table is a upper limit
you can use it to force timing to go places that it would not normally want to go
that is part of what you are doing when trying to create a backfire
