NYS inspection vs tunes

has anyone had any issues with using a tune vs the NYS inspection?

i am new to tuning and considering tuning my 2016 challenger. i am assuming as long as the tune doesn't through any CELs (ex messing with O2 sensors) its all good but (again) I am new.

Make sure all your monitors are running and passing. Not sure to what extent they are inspecting. No cel and all monitors passed should pass a inspection.

i am reading conflicting reports on custom tune detection vs OE programming. I was hoping some NY tuners would share their experiences. I assume you are correct (ie monitors are running and passing) but NY is always passing some new law that makes things difficult. It also depends on the shop doing the inspection. RR

Call https://www.hemitunerperformance.com/ there in NYC They'll have an answer for you , all the stuff I've done for NY has been ok, as long as the Monitors where fine the tune was fine.
