    New Hellcat Crate Won?t Start

I’m new to HPT. I have a new hellcat crate with stock harness/ecu that I can’t get started. Fuel pressure is good 60. I’ve checked all fuses and sensor connections. I did the pedal learn function with HPT. Manual says to do crank/cam relearn, but when I attempt that in HPT it says engine must be running.

There are a couple codes. I know U1110 is just because the CAN bus is not programmed yet. I’ve attached the screen shot. I’d appreciate it if anyone has seen this issue or has any ideas

Spark advance showing -64 seems odd but maybe not accurate since it isn’t running?

    What tune are you using?

    Did you change anything?

Using the factory hellcrate harness. No changes other than the pedal relearn. I pulled a couple plugs and confirmed injectors are not firing and there is no spark during start.

I've attached the file if anyone can take a look to see if anything jumps out. A CAN communication setting? Should all of these be set to 'Disable" since it is a crate swap with manual?

Bumping again to see if anyone is willing to take a look at the files and has an idea. I've reached out to MMX where I bought the crate too.

I've attached the scan file during crank. Shows barometric pressure of 16 psi, this is a little high, but I'm at sea level so shouldn't be too far off. Is throwing P2227 code.

Ambient air temp 255*, which is obviously not right. IAT/ECT temps read normal.

Could either of these prevent start up? I've read about TMAP sensors causing limp mode but not 'no start'

    Thanks

Ok what you need to do is make sure power does not drop to the PCM between run and start, if it cuts it will reboot the PCM and cause this issue.

There's a good chance that's your issue, How old is the switch ? I helped a local guy two years ago with a 69 notch back Cuda and Hellkitty crate set up , in the end it was the 54 year old ignition that led to some real foul language .

also , that 64* you see for spark when you hit the key , is normal , they all(Crate PCM, OEM PCM) do it.

Good catch, thanks guys! It does look like the voltage reading flickers turning back from key start to on. I'll bypass the switch after work and try it. Fingers crossed

Success!! It was the ignition switch. Fired right up after bypassing. I really appreciate it guys. That would have been the last thing I would have thought about. Had me stressing. Thanks again
