    L83 closed loop disable

How do you disable closed loop on a L83 tune 2015 Silveardo?

I can see where you can delay it but that doesn't help much here. I have to drive the truck open headers to the exhaust shop for a custom Ypipe. I know if the o2s are on the truck will run like butt. I can unplug them but they are kind of a pain to get too.

Just use the scanner and special functions to command OL.

Just unplug both front 02s.. won’t enable closed loop and MV will stay at 1.107

You can also set the O2 readiness voltage to something it'll never see like 1mV. It's the threshold the O2s have to go below to enter closed loop.

If you set that to 1 it will stay in open loop at all times.

I'll give this a shot next time. We have been just unplugging the newer cars when we have to do this but it's a pain to plug everything back in some times.

    Thanks guys
