    C6 Z06 - Katech Touring Cam ― Hot-Start Stall & Idle Misfires ? Need Guidance

    Hi everyone,

I'm new to tuning and recently finished rebuilding the LS7 in my 2007 Corvette C6 Z06 with the following cam:

    Katech "Touring" - 227/245 @ 0.050, .630/.630 lift, 116.5 + 4.5 LSA

When I start the engine, it cranks, catches, and then immediately dies unless I blip the throttle. I've tried doubling the Startup Airflow tables, but this only helps with cold starts (ECT ~ 77F). I'm also getting noticeable misfires at idle.

Is there a to-do checklist (airflow, fueling, spark, etc.) that people follow after installing a cam that's bigger than stock using HP Tuners? Alternatively, are there any proven starting-point values that work well with the Katech Touring Cam or similar specs?

Any advice, logs, or tune examples would be greatly appreciated?thanks in advance!

No data log, no tune file, no help. Read the stickies.

There's a lot to do to dial that cam in.

What do you think cam lope looks like to a misfire diagnostic designed for a smooth idling stock cam?
