    Swapped 6L90 wont shift-termintor x max

1987 Chevy Silverado C30 Dually W/ LS swap and 6L90. Being controlled with Holley Terminator X Max.

Long story this is over a couple of years. After I complete the swap I test drove it and everything was great. I started doing the interior work, took me a few months. I go to drive it again and now the 6L90 isn't shifting. Getting code P182E which is internal mode switch (IMS). I checked everything and even though the IMS tested out fine I replaced it and same issue, I then replaced the TCM and didn't fix it. I did do troubleshooting and a lot of visual inspections. Fast forward 6 months and I broke down and ordered a new 6L90 from Monster transmissions. I installed it loaded new calibrations on engine and trans and same damn issues. Transmission seems to be stuck in 3rd or something and it doesn't ever shift. I bought the mpvi3 to see if I can figure this issue out and I don't know how yo use this tool. I need hep. I'm not asking for free help, I will pay for anyone's time.

I did call holley and they were zero help.

I don't see how mpvi3 will help at all on a Holly controlled transmission but I may be missing something.

I wanted to flash it using hp tuners instead of the hand held holley unit.

Just connect to the TCM thru the holley OBD port and read the tune. .
The Holley needs to be tuned pretty decent for the virtual torque to work right.

I know this sounds odd but do you know what program was flashed into your TCM from Monster/The original? I've had a few folks have issues with Terminator's and the 6L80E. We've flashed the TCM to a 2012 Camaro 6L80E and folks have said it's resolved their issues. Maybe try flashing a 2012 Camaro file. This is assuming the TCM is a 2010+ unit.

HP Tuners has a repository. However, there are questions you must answer. What year TCM did Monster provide you? Did Monster flash the TCM with OEM software first? What tune is currently in there? You'll want to reach out to Monster and gather some basic information before anyone on here can assist. You can also plug in with your HP Tuners and perform a read and post your current read file out of the TCM.
