Guess I'm lucky as mines an 18 6.7 been deleted for several years and now heavily modded and I'm able to read and write without any issues and my tuner was also with hp. But was tuned previously with a different unit so not sure if that helped.

No it’s just an inherent HP Tuners thing. Everyone gets bricked eventually when using it on a Cummins.
