interface was found but no vehicle power was detected error

Went to log the other day and keep getting this error. Checked all fuses, checked power to the OBD2 port and it has 12v so I?m at a loss. Any thoughts? Thanks

Resync interface. If that doesn't work re-connect and disconnect several times until it loads. Also plug and unplug your USB to the MVPI.

Ooooo I didn?t even think of that, done and had a firmware update so I?ll give it a go when the laptop is a bit charged. Thanks.

    Which interface are you using?

MPVI1 had a power input mux TPS2113APW which burned when cranking with not so healthy battery and gave the same error message.

Went to auto zone and their scanner powered on when connected to the OBD2. So I’m guessing my plug is borked.
