    Post AFR Question

    I install wideband and now log to tune NN and wondering why on idle the wideband line is straight and when im driving (normal driving) that make wave like on the image ?

    Not sure exactly what you mean, but your afraid will always fluctuate, the better the tune, the less variation. But changes in temperature humidity and altitude can change your fueling, so that's why you have o2 sensors

    The wave-like pattern you see is the PCM varying the afr around stoich. The purpose of the variation has to do with how the catalytic converter works and maximizing the effect of the catalyst. I don't think the algorithms for the wave pattern are available to use using HPTuners; but you want it especially if you still have cats.

    The wave pattern varies in speed with engine RPM. At idle, the pattern fluctuates the slowest so it's not as easy to see.
