    SD LS1 GTO with TVS2300

Tuner zero'd out MAF as he couldn't get it to run right (not a huge problem going SD, just a waste of my new card style maf...) but I am running really rich idle/low throttle, occasional rough start, and every once and a while it will hesitate when a blip the throttle and stumble.

I don't have a wideband installed so it was dyno tuned with a tailpipe sniffer so it never really got a street tune. Wondering if theres something I can do to lean it out a little at low load.

Sure, lower the numbers in the VE table. Have you been watching the fuel trims?

What injectors? Name brand and size. Data sheet is even better.

What other mods to the vehicle?

The MAF table is not zeroed out in that file.

You wouldn't want to run a MAF on that setup anyway.

A log of it driving might help diag this. When I have a car like yours in the shop.. what I do on the road takes me maybe 4x as long as the dyno. The dyno is the easy part.

Deka 60s, no great data - I have a file sent over by FIC that has some data. I know he struggled at the time to get decent injector data.

Other mods are just longtubes into catless mids, nothing that should make this thing run much worse than stock.

So, you haven't data logged this thing in 3 years? And the data log is done with the default pid list which doesn't offer much.

Car basically got parked right after due to some personal issues, and I am just now back in a position where I can try and get it sorted.

I would gladly get better logs.

    no questions are dumb.

but, youve got some really good people on this thread that will give you great info.
Let's start over, and try to answer all of these:

    Vehicle make/model/year
    Tune and data log
    Engine/size
Axle gear ratio / tire size
    Computer and operating system used
    Type of heads (317/243)
    Transmission
    Torque convertor stall
    intake manifold
    Intake tube / air filter
    MAP part number
    MAF part number
    Injector part number
    cam used (link to specs)
exhaust type (long tube headers, no cats, straight piped)
    pictures of engine
    pistons
    compression
throttle body type, size and DBW/DBC
Fuel pressure at idle and while driving
fuel system type, FPR, pump size, returnless or no
    ect ect

Thanks again, your input is much appreciated -

    Its a 2004 GTO
Stock LS1, never opened, with the 241 heads
    Stock TB
    MAF removed
    LT headers into catless mids
    Manual
TVS2300 kit, with stock rear and a 2.9 front pulley, stock crank pulley ~7-8 PSI seen at altitude here, ~3600ft above.

Basically, outside of the LTs, this was a kit ordered straight from Magnusson for the LS1 GTO. It came with Deka 60s installed and zero in the way of injector data. FIC was nice enough to send me some new data for the Deka Siemens 60lbs660cc_FIC_Deka60_Short_03242022.xlsx

That log was obviously done with a different tune than what you listed, so it is worthless to us. Check to see if you even have a 2bar MAP sensor installed before trying anything else, and also try to find out if anything has been done to the fuel system. At minimum check fuel pressure at idle. Blower kits used to be bad about being set up for MAF only, and would not even use a 2bar MAP, so it is possible that you may still have a 1bar MAP sensor. There is no way that a factory fuel pump would keep up with demand from a tvs on a ls1, so the pump may have been upgraded to something that is overpowering the regulator at idle. Hardware always has to be verified before software can be made to work properly.

Thanks everyone I will get some logs this weekend.

I installed a OE 2bar MAP and a DW65c fuel pump. Found some old email from the tuner below:

"-I drove it onto the dyno on the tune it had

    - I changed the maf over to the new one, fired it up and did a log, it was super lean as expected (maf wasnt dialed yet)

-Disabled LTFT and Dynamic mode, did maf transfer function tuning based on STFT /Wideband on dyno.

-Did power pulls on dyno, everything was decent, made good power.

-Upgraded the pulley, did the pulls with the new pulley to finish the maf work.

-Killed maf temporarily and went into speed density, started tuning that. Noticed the tip in sucked, tried to work it a bit using the usual tables but wouldnt co operate. Seems fine when were on maf but dynamic enabled

-Started noticing that after a pull coming down to idle it would be doing a -30 fuel trim. If i shut the car off and returned like 15 minutes later it would start , idle at +- 5% trims. Do a pull, come back down, sometimes two
    pulls, -30 correction.

-no matter what i do with injector data, no matter what i do with open loop target ( has to do with startup and afterstart enrichment) its lean as shit on start up, and after like 20 seconds it corrects itself and idles happy

So currently, the map is in speed density patch, however im going to put it back on the original tune just to trouble shoot some stuff, with the stock maf. I just want to see if the stock one behaves. If it doesnt, im led to believe it could
be an ecu issue or something of that matter. I dont see anything wrong with the pcv, and i looked at the instructions for the charger (g8 kit, but similar) and it seems everything is as they say. Ive checked fuel pressure, its 55-60 psi so normal.

My other tuner that helps me out with stuff told me the o2 look a little slow, but everything else looks okay. "

Old notes from tuner, car is currently tuned to that above tune.

You can't put the stock tune back in it and run it if it has big injectors.

Post the current tune and a current data log on that the tune file you post here.

Two recents logs - my tablet was misbehaving and I couldnt change the PID list beyond what was enabled.

    25-06-07 15-12-53.hpl25-06-07 15-45-44.hpl

Its seems like its lean in the middle - would explain why it runs better on hot days?

I have a wideband I need to get a bung welded for going in this week.
