Issues logging with wideband on EGR circuit

I have an AEM gauge 30-0300 I have connected the white wire to the pin 55 and the brown to ground when I look at the scanner shows 0 volts on the EGR and 7.31 on the chart I checked the wire on the computer and it showing 4.5 volts and checked the white wire on the gauge shows 4.5 volts. Gauge shows 14.5 at idle. Is the white wire from the gauge supposed to show different voltage? or is it something I am missing on the tune. Thanks in advance for the help.

A zero volt reading on the scanner means EGR is not enabled in your tune. If it was enabled you would show phantom millivolt readings even with nothing attached to the pin. The current version of HPT does not allow you to change this, so you either have to use an earlier version of the software or some other tuning software to enable it. With any luck someone here will modify it for you.

Try this, but no guarantees. I don't have an older version of HPT, so I have to use a very roundabout way of changing that flag to enable.PRVN 2000 SIerra Manual edit 4.3 1 egr on.bin Shit, I attached the .bin version. Let me try again.

There is an enable/disable setting for EGR that hptuners no longer gives access to. You have to be cautious doing this, as there is also a table that modifies spark based on EGR. I made sure that table was zeroed out in your file.

Hey guys I have the same issue, voltage reading 0 and 7.3 or whatever.

Is this still a thing that you cant enable in HPT? I wired this wideband ion and set it all up for volts, but now its not reading the source as the OP (6 months later srry)

I dont wanna have to open a new thread on this if someone can shed light.

Running an 02 camaro base tune on my stock ls6 (05 cstv) on a truck PCM and trying to dial in my sensors for a better startup tune and light street tune. Need to get this wideband datalogging....

post your tune file and I'll turn on egr for you. I have two versions of hpt. I usually run the older one.

Ive been trying to get my aem 30-0300 gauge to work through egr and finally this thread makes sense as to why I cant...2002 lm7 white wire to pin 55 ...egr always reads zero no matter what, no option to enable or disable egr like ive seen in some older you tube videos.

Here is my tune, hopefully this thread is still current enough to post to for a response...
