I need some lmm tuning help!!!

ok here i what i have going on. i just recently bought a cts3 edge insught upgraded it to the evolution but when i try to flash any tunes to the truck it just tells me that the current ecm tune is corrupt and wont back it up or proceed to flash anything. i have never tuned the truck before but i suspect the previous owner had because i replaced the y bridge and up pipe a couple yearsback and bever had any CEL come on as a resultso i imagine it has a dpf delete on it. i would like to be able to use there tunes but cant until i can get past the part of it thinking my current tune is corrupt is there anyway to accomplish this or not or is there someone who can make a tune for me if so could you point me in there direction. i appreciate any help i can get here my vin number is 1GCHK23677F56O811 AND IT 07.5 2500hd SILVERADO

your not alone, i bought a truck with a locked ecm, my obd2 scanner before making purchases shows no dtc codes, but i have a check engine light on, and engine reduced power, mpvi3 on a read just skips the ecm read and reads the trans. i wasted credits trying to write a stock file from hpt. and just says unlicensed vehicle. maybe some one will chime in and help, honestly ive been fighting this truck for 18mo just to keep it running, and figured i would learn instead of constantly being told its this, or the last shop did this wrong. sounds like we are fighting the same thing. im running a 2008 3500 gmc drw, newer y bridge charge pipes, 4in exhaust, uppipes and down pipes recently rebuilt a turbo it is a 64mm compressor as the one that was replaced 18mo failed. i wish i could help.

Sure this has been asked...
But have either of you tried to Flash back to stock with SPS - Tech Line Connect or whatever the heck they call it now days?

Have you tried reading with other programimg software?

You wrote a stock file from a different VIN, which you licensed, not the file with the VIN for your truck. You will need to have a file with the information from your truck to license and flash. PM me and I can help you with that.

If the truck has been deleted, your CTS3 will have compliant tuning on it so you will be left with a truck in limp mode. Do not flash with the CTS3 unless you have custom tuning on it. Buying it from Edge will NOT have custom tuning.
