2014 Yukon DOD delete.. Now converter shutter??

So I did a DOD delete on a 2014 Yukon Denali the other day that had the 8 speed transmission that would need unlocked, so I chose not to read the TCM with the engine calibration. I turned off DOD, disabled appropriate DTC's only, and reflashed the truck w/ just the engine file. I get a call the from guy the next day saying that when he loads the truck at 50-55 mph to accelerate the transmission shutters hard almost every time. Could this be a result of not grabbing the TCM file and somehow it's still trying to look at the DOD slip tables, etc. This is the first time I've had any issues with just a simple DOD delete, but it's also the first time I can recall not reading the TCM file along with.

DOD disable or DOD delete with the cam and lifters were changed?
