    Z06 Low Boost

15 A8 Z06: Cam, X port blower, nw 103 TB, 2.3 upper pulley, 5? cordes intake, long tubes/x pipe, MM wild catch can.

Just got the blower back from Kong and in the process of tuning the car. It is only making about 3 pounds of boost max. I have adjusted the bypass valve, replaced the bypass valve, bypassed the solenoid to the valve, swapped belts, did a boost leak test and nothing has changed the boost level.

The elevation where I live is about 4500 feet so I?m not sure if I?m being killed there? Nothing looks off in the log and it?s not throwing any codes or running bad.. it?s just low on boost. Does anyone have any ideas on what to check? Do I need to throw a lower pulley on it at this point? Thank you for your time and any input is appreciated.

Here is a log from the other night. If i'm reading the log correctly, it looks like the throttle body is opening completely.

None of the PID's that you're monitoring are the right ones to determine boost pressure. How are you determining you're only getting 3 psi?

You have to monitor the correct MAP channel for the Z06 to use in a user math entry to see boost pressure.

To be honest I am just using the ?Boost? PID, I was under the impression that using that one hp tuners did the math for me. Do you have an example of the correct channels I should be using?

"Manifold Pressure - Hi Res" is the MAP value you need to create a boost math PID in scanner to accurately monitor boost. You'll need Barometric pressure as well. I forget the specific names since I set everything up a while ago. But this has been discussed already on the forum. Search the forum and you will find the answers.
