Tuner in Training
Hello everyone! I am new here obviously haha. Just trying to do right by the forum rules and say a few things. I am here due to unfortunate circumstances with my 2015 Suburban. I am getting ready to try and rebuild it myself without any prior knowledge or experience in rebuilding ANY auto transmission but here I go. Wish me luck and thanks for having me.

so i am completely new to any tuning, and working on cars, but have been plagued, with costly repairs, and over the last 4wks, have managed to rebuild a turbo on a 2008 lmm, after paying for a reman and a shop to install one 18mo ago, who convinced me of the reason he said it failed with only 138k, and at that time retuned my truck, and after a horrible trip towing are 5th wheel and numerous engine power reduced messages, then took me for a well you really need gauges at the next shop in another state(me and wife both travel for work and camper weighs around 16k) now i like the gauges, egt, oiltemp, boost, other than him trying to get me to a edge system and stated i needed new tuning... shortly after returning home the turbo was making god awful noises and no boost(while towing ive seen 38-40psi) that i now know is way too much for how i use this truck. and "said hey i will do the work myself while im off " which lead me to how to read a tune, i chose hpt because of the support of the other gm gassers we have that i can read, this truck only reads the tcm and wont even recognize the read on the ecm and just skips it. any fixes, a tune support person said it was custom os and needed to be flashed with a stock tune with a gm tech 2 and gave me a price for his shop to do it, and retune the truck or have the dealer flash it back to stock and he can remotely tune it.
Now is there a way to from hpt tunes to load a stock lmm tune and attach it to vin?
