    Lly Duramax lost TCM communication mid reflash

    I have an 04.5 Lly duramax that I?ve been playing around with adjusting the engine and transmission tune for months. When I originally tried to flash the truck I bricked my ecm because I didn?t pull the necessary fuses. Ever sense I replaced it I have had no issues flashing ecm or tcm, I pull the fuses every time now and am typically able to flash the ecm and tcm in one go without having to do the flashes separately which I had read was something some people weren?t able to do, but usually I flash them separately because I have been nervous flashing this truck sense paying for a new ecm. However today after work I wanted to make some adjustments to my trans tune, so I pull my fuses and begin my flash, it got to 89% then froze, then the completion time just started increasing like it did prior when I bricked my ecm. So sure enough it fail and then say it can?t communicate with tcm so I check with scanner at work and I have 2 tcm codes I don?t remember them exactly but basically saying I lost communication with my tcm. So my question is am I screwed? Is there a way I can possibly get it to communicate and reflash? Is it likely that I start having issues with my tcm plugs right as in flashing my tcm for probably the 25th time? Curious if anyone has experienced anything similar or that could point my in the right direction. My assumption is that my tcm got bricked and I need a new one but I don?t under it would have.     The TCM usually doesn't brink but sometimes if your voltage was unstable it would have interrupted the flash process and failed when almost done. At that point you would want to implement a full flash and see if it goes through. If that still fails your next best bet is to unhook the TCM from the truck then flash it alone on a bench harness. You may have also blown the 10 amp fuse in the cab towards the top of the interior fuse box check all your fuses in the cab and out and report back.
