    Porsche Startup LS3

    Hi guys,

I have a L94 engine that has been setup like a LS3. LS3 MAP Sensor, LS7 MAF sensor. LS3 Intake & fuel rail, L94 50lb/hr injectors, L94 TBody, L94 Coils. I have a standalone harness that also incorperates some of the Porshce stuff. I feel like I made all the changes needed for this combo to start. TSP Stage 2 LS3 cam. Updated the tune for the MAF & Injectors, added some idle speed. Does it look like my tune is wrong or should I be looking elsewhere? I have spark at the plugs and fuel in the rail, Porshce factory regulator is set at 58psi, Walbro 450 pump in the tank. E38 Base computer is running the OS for a manual trans 2009 corvettee that was recomended on this forum for a standalone setup. The only sensors not currently hooked up are O2s, still working on exhaust.

update, fires immeditley with some starting fluid/brake clean. Issue is fuel related, going down that rabbit hole now, need to see a mechanical gauage on the fuel rail and then verify my injector data is correct. Fuel pressure looks good and is holding steady around 58psi according to a guage on the rail.

I am having what I think is a injector issue. Only have cylinders 3 & 4 showing heat on the primary tubes. I have spark everywhere and a noid light tells me the injectors are seeing a signal to fire. Fuel pressure is holding steady at 58 psi through out, the scanner data isn't accurate for fuel pressure, the ecu doesn't see a sensor, its been verified via mechanical gauge. I am using a LS3 Map sensor and the data in the tune looks accurate for that sensor but something is off. These are the L94 50lb injectors that came with the engine from the salvage yard, I have no history on the motor other than a broken ring land in cylinder 5. The entire engine was rebuilt and I sonic cleaned the injectors but I find it hard to believe it has 6 bad injectors. Any insight? My tune could be way off, I'm simply trying to get it to run enough to verify its mechanically sound before it is dyno tuned. New AC Delco, maf, crank, cam, knock sensors. New NTK O2 Sensors. On a positive note oil pressure looks great and its charging.

I wouldn't suspect a tuning issue for that.

I don't like all the changes on the fuel / general page.

Pulled the injectors, 6 of them are dead, of the 2 cylinders that were firing one of those injectors leaks under pressure. I put a set of 42lbs injectors in it, tested everyone of them before installing and modified the tune for them but without the old school VE table i am on the struggle bus. Its to rich. Starts and dies, pedal has minimal effect.

I updated the VE tables. They look alot better, just took me a minute to understand it all and how it changed. That does not mean i did it correctly but used google sheets to change the axis and load it. Ill try it in the AM

I was able to drive it today. Needs 5ish% of pedal to start but it then idles and drives ok. It does not stall out and returns to idle. I know the tune needs a bunch of work, LTFT are telling me i need to pull some fuel but that's for another day. I know it gets a little warm, was easy/gentle driving. Took me a minute to realize i had to make changes for the GM computer to run the Porsche Fans.
