    L83 to L8T swap

Hi all. The L83 in my 15 Suburban is on its way out. (cam/lifter failure, surprise) Its the family ride so I'm trying to limit down time. Since a swap has to happen, I'd like to make it better than it was. Finding some info, but nothing real definitive. Is a switch to a L8T or L8P a simple swap? Is there an existing stock tune I could put in to get up and going? Anything I need to be prepared for? Thanks for any input.

No offense, Why swap it? You can do the 6.6 Cam with the DOD delete kit and save the motor and it would take a day of commitment.
