    2010 ram 5.7 tuning ( beginner )

    Hello,

I am Stephan and life in Belgium.
We own a dodge ram 2010 5.7 hemi
    Shorty headers with sport exhaust
    s&b CAI
    RON98
( still to decide which cam i gonna put in it )

Happily we can say we received our MPVI3

Now i am a beginner in this stuff but it looks fun for me to do it myself en learning.
The first thing i did was turning of the MDS.
Now i am trying to add some extra power and a crackle map.

The problem is that i get 1 burb and thats it

Any hints and tips are welcome

I believe you need negative numbers in the minimum spark table to go along with the negatives in part throttle.

There are tons of Information …use the search function for burble.
The cheapest and smartest way is, do the 6.4 shifter cam and go to 6000rpm or use the 6.4 A/T cam for better characteristics.
If you want more overlap, read ALL informations before you buy the cam…it’s not plug and play.
Its a lot of work to do at torque tables, intake flow, idle correction, ignition….no way for beginners.

i did this now from what i found.
turned off dfco and adjust the spark tables.
But for one or another reason it is not going into negative spark

Not an expert on the issue. But it may help to log aircharge and compare to the tune what it should be requesting. It tried to go negative after the last rpm increase. Will agree with f.creek though, there is a few threads on pops and bangs/burble that have better information.
