good day, new to tuning and have questions but this is my first of many,
I race a 2.4 cobalt and not allowed to have vvt hooked up. As we all know with out it, it is a dog. How do I eliminate/set it in HP?

so I am trying something. I have taken the VVT apart and took out the spring and have engaged the vvt with JBWELD. popped them back together and installed them. I did have to up the idle to 1200 as it obviously has rough idle. When rev it up to 3 grand it smooths out. Will admit is runs like crap at idle but VVT is fully engaged and tech will see they are not hooked up. Has anybody else tried doing this?
Are there not any VVT enable/disable parameters? And/or zero out any cam timing tables so that the ECU always commands home position.
not that I have been able to find. I have been playing the game of unhooking the vvts when in heat races and then hook them up in the feature race. Problem I am having is tech pops the hood and sees them and then the DQ. the car is night and day different with them unhooks vs hooked up....
presumably youre using an e67 for this 07 2.4.. i checked the repository and pulled OS 12610013, and heres parameters for cam angle, looks like its based on barometric pressure? why not zero those three (low, med, hi)
(its a small pic)
