4l60 transmission iss delete tuning sensor is dead possible to tune out

hey guys have a 2012 silverado v6 with the 4l60. transmission shifts good but when it warms up the iss sensor reads incorrectly and the transmission sends full fluid pressure. get the p0716 code. tried everything including grounding the tcm wire.
i have done a lot of reading and their is no clear answer on deleting iss with regards to torque management. any one on here tune out iss instead of just deleting it with success? dont want to pull out tranny out of this rusty truck.
