so firstly from my understanding to tune a diesel for more power you just add fuel. do i just add abit to desired torque and base fueling?
and i was wondering if someone could look at this tune2007 gmc duramax 75hp tow.hpt and tell me what you think? buddy got his truck tuned and later heard some not so good things
There's more to it than just adding fuel. There's timing and boost control for starters.
That tune isn't terrible, but there are some weird things going on, like 200% requested vane position. If you want some other tunes to look through, I posted some here: https://forum.hptuners.com/showthrea...-live-hot-tune
