Arrow 1997 PCM revert to stock

    Hi everyone,
First time posting here, I live in Bulgaria and here you just can't find anyone who can do GEN3 tuning.
The problem is that I have a '97 C5 that I bought recently, which has really bad tunning on it:
    - bad idle (I managed at least to tune it to prevent stalls every 3 minutes of oscillating idle)
    - bad throttle response at N, it is really sluggish

I want to revert the whole PCM software to stock version and to start again since the car has mild cam installed from the previous owner.

Which way to take in order to achieve my goal?
Copy/paste from and pristine copy of the PCM, maybe update of the OS, but I am not sure whether this will reset the tunning or no.
I am also worries that I can brick the PCM soon, I got this warning from hptuners that this PCM can be easily damaged. (Big red letters)

    Thanks in advance!

    PS. I have MPVI3

post up your tune so we can see what you have and are working with.
Is the car a US car imported, or where did it come from ?
With your tune file we can see what ECU/OS is on it and provide more help

Sorry for the late response, I was on vacation.
The cae was produced for the EU market.
It has unknows cam and vararam CAI.
Currently the transmission is not operational because after a major repair it loosing all gears when get warm.
Here is the tune that I made only to make a stable idle. It cannot go in close loop.

This deff. looks like one I would start over with. Find someone with the GM tools to reflash your PCM to a stock file and start over. Do you have GM dealers/dealer repair facilities in your part of the world?
I don't see anything in the tune that will be causing your current Transmission issue, it's likely a mechanical issue now.

I forgot to tell you that I also remapped the transmission tables, because they were sh*t.
The thing is that there is no GM dealers in my country, I am on my own with HP tuners in my hands and wondering how to revert everything back to stock.
Obviously someone that does not understand anything about tunning had changes all the tables.
That is why I started this thread, someone to give me an advice how to go back to stock and then possible to find someone from US to touch it a bit (of course I am going to pay for it).

Start looking into things like this. There are plenty of people who offer this service but it may be easier for you to just buy a flashed PCM and the credits to tune on the new/used PCM.

You could try to do a compare of a stock file and determine what data you want to copy over via HPT software. I image there should be a stock file in the repository.

You might find a stock file on the repository. Else look into SPS reprogramming. It might be cheaper for you to get the tools/subscription than mailing it to the states.

You should know that those ECM's are hard to find, expensive, and do fail occasionally with flashes. Just make sure battery is topped off and keep the laptop on and happy during writes.
