Question Shift Light High RPM question

I have been tuning VE and MAF via WB and was trying to revert back to closed loop mode when I noticed my Shift Light High RPM setting different from what it was when it was stock. It is now set to 10,000 RPM and the stock setting was 12,800 RPM. I tried to change it back to the stock setting of 12,800 and save it, but it always defaults back to 10,000. I noticed in the notes section at the bottom of the window that the max is 10,000 RPM, which means it will never be set to 12,800 again.

My question is why would HPT limit me to this value when the stock value was originally higher?

(Before I get beamed to death about this, I do realize that I will never need to spin my motor to either one of those RPM levels... I'm just curious)

RPM limit in the HPT Software is lower than the max value. Email support with your before & after files and I'm sure they can correct it.

I suppose this thread should have been in the Bugs and Issues section.

Ya, 10K max doesn't reall matter, you won't hurt anything by not having it at 12800
