Pro link plus wiring question

I'm adding a 14Point7 analog wideband to my MVIP3 via the Prolink+ wiring. am i reading the instructions correct by connecting the widebands low reference(ground) to the ProLink+ black(ground). and neither to a chassis ground?

Yes, that's the way we did it; however, our widebands are on our dyno, we are logging the Spartan through the CAN input on the prolink+, and the Spartan 3's ground is also connected to the dyno's ground, not the car's ground.
