2021 Escalade Magnuson TVS 2650 pre-owned question

All,
Completely new here and to be called an amateur would be a massive understatement. My question is around the opportunity to purchase a couple year old TVS 2650 full kit for abut $5K. Does purchasing used prevent me from buying whatever ECU upgrades I need to make this SC work? Furthermore, am I going to burn up whatever savings I may have by buying used due to not having access to the tune thru the new purchase route? Is is just dumb to try to save 2500 bucks or is it really no different than purchasing new aside from whatever warranty would come from Magnuson? For all you experts, these are novice questions, so whoever takes the time to steer me here I'd be very appreciative. The used system looks brand new and appears to have EVERYTHING needed. Why not save $2500 which could essentially pay for the install? Thanks in advance !!!

The "tune" that comes with the SC kit is not very good at all. You'd be better off getting it tuned by someone who knows what they're doing even if you buy the kit new.

As long as you know what you're looking at and all the parts are included there's nothing wrong with buying used. If it's missing multiple parts and you don't know until later, you may end up spending the extra cash anyway.
