cm845 Vin change

I have a 2003 i need to replace the ecm on and I need to change the vin for skreem to communicate and to write the original tune file. any one know the best way to go about this? or is there any other way to erase then flash the ECM with the original file. I tired a to change the VIN with a scan tool and it wont take and I tired to change the skim module to the new vin and it wont take. any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey did you ever get this figured out? Sorta in a similar situation. Needing to write my trucks vin on a replacement exam for my 2003 Cummins CM845

Well if you knew what you were doing you would know EFILive doesn’t work with the SCI model years
