Im Dexter from Highend Auto Solutions in Miami, FL. Im hoping someone here can help me out with an issue Ive been experiencing since last night.
I recently purchased 8 credits, and when I tried to resync my MPVI3 interface, I got a prompt saying a firmware update was required. This was unexpected, as the interface was working fine and reading the car before I bought the credits. Now, I cant do anything with it ? it won't proceed past the firmware update requirement.
It?s been a while since I last used the interface, so I figured maybe a quick update was needed. However, the firmware update seems stuck or unresponsive. Ive tried this on two different laptops ? one of them is my wifes, which has no automotive software installed ? and still ran into the same issue. I even did a fresh install of the software, but no luck.
From what Ive read, the firmware update process shouldnt take this long. It almost seems like the interface got disconnected or bricked when I attempted to resync for the universal credits.
Ive submitted a support ticket (#496897), but its the weekend and I need to get this resolved ASAP for a customer.
Has anyone else run into this issue? Any advice or fixes would be greatly appreciated.
