    Pre 1997 4L80E

    I purchased a 1993 4l80 years ago for my 2004 6.0l swap before I knew of the complications installed it anyway and of courses I'm having troubles. I am wondering if anyone has been able to make the older ones work. I'm getting the P0573 and P0758 solenoid codes not allowing any shifting out of second gear. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The plugs and sensors were the same and my is 2004 was with the 4l80e p59 ecm 12576106.

    p0573 is a brake switch circuit A high

    P0758 is shift solenoid B code.
    Did you check resistance for Shift solenoid B to make sure it was good?
