MPVI3 Data Logging Issues

Anyone ever go to start a log and it gets stuck in a loop, i.e., start and stop buttons (also dropdown menu buttons) greyed out?

No channels data. No log file to save in scanner. Was working originally, then broke, then it resolved itself after a fresh install of vcm suite beta, now doesnt work regardless. Ive tried 2 laptops, clean installs of vcm suite beta, importing channels, building from scratch, etc.

Bosch ME17 ecu, same results with another ski same ecu.

It datalogs in standalone, but there is a known issue with prolink canbus channels not coming through in standalone so I cant see wideband data...

Thoughts?

Ive been working with Rolando for about a week now, just curious if anyone else has had a similar issue. Ive been pretty thorough with troubleshooting, its gotta be the dongle at this point.

If you are trying to log to the MPVI3 without a computer connected, I think it is still broken. I gave up and I now log to an AiM XLog. I find the native HPTuners logger software way to painful compared to AiM data logging and then using MegaLogViewer HD.

Thanks for the heads up, Whittlebeast. I was looking for alternatives, I will check that out. Im sending the mpvi3 back, hopefully they can find the problem. So far tech support has been awesome.

Pretty sure as whittlebeast said standalone without the PC connected using the pro link doesn't work. Been chasing this issue for a while with tech guys and no fix at this point.

Yes, I had that issue, too, separate ticket. Just so you guys are tracking, they were able to duplicate that in the lab and are working on a fix, timeline tbd.

My issue was I suddenly stopped being able to log with the laptop connected to the mpvi3 via usb and bluetooth.

The scanner gets stuck between start and stop log with function buttons greyed out. Rolando requested the dongle, at this point, thats got to be the issue, or the brp cable, those are the only 2 items I wasnt able to swap out.
