2008 6.4 Powerstroke EGT not reading

Tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything. I just got my scanner to start working today on my new to me 6.4 but I noticed that the EGT sensor aren't changing at all. Just stay at 930 degrees. Am I missing something or is my sensor not working? New to diesel tuning. Have spent all my life in the GM gas world. I have attached a short log from this afternoon.

Also I have no idea what tune is currently on this truck or if it is locked. If I try and read the tune file and it ends up being locked by SCT or someone will I risk bricking my ECM? I don't have any of the user defined parameters for the good stuff but the truck has been put on a diet since almost new. I know I wont be able to see any of those tables. Definitely looking to freshen this truck up from where it is now.

Just had a thought. Is there a way to truck the EGT sensor into reading a constant temp?

Submit a ticket to HPT support and let them fix this issue.

I believe my truck reads a constant value regardless of actual temp, on my snap on scanner. Might be a default after weight loss

Try looking for egr cooler pre temp (may have to use the beta software not sure). The reading will come from the pyro in the driver side up pipe. Thanks goes to donnies_diesel this was something he posted in one of the powerstroke FB groups.
