I recently replaced the engine in my 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo (MED17.9.8, OS ID GTFS-HFU6FS00H01) and now I’m running into what I believe is an ECU issue I can’t solve.

After replacing the engine, the car started throwing a P2261 DTC. Figuring it was some issue with the MAC solenoid or BOV on the car, I reinstalled all OEM parts. With the factory RCV solenoid and RCV valve installed, I stopped getting the P2261 but the car builds boost to ~11 psi and then cuts power and limps after.

My assumption is that I am hitting some limit not exposed in VCM Editor. Again, my thinking is it has something to do with the RCV logic and how the new engine nuances don’t meet the ECU standard or learned behavior.

Anyone have an idea of why this would be happening or point me to someone who could remove this logic if I sent a clean file?
