Long time lurker, first time poster! lol. Just did a T56 swap on a 2014. Thought we had beat the system by keeping the trans computer plugged in. Truck starts up and drives fine...up to 4k rpms. Assuming this is what the limit for the computer thinking it is in park. Tried switching the ecu over to manual transmission in the tune file, same thing. Anyone have ideas to try next?
Reprogram the ecm outside of HPT (AC Delco TDS) for a manual transmission vehicle.

The Tech2 wasnt able to make anything happen in that regard. Looking for other answers. Also trying to figure out how to get a speed sensor signal to the ecu. Speedo is working, but it is coming from the ABS Module
