Is there a tune for motor/trans to make driveability better
Hello please provide me any info about if I?ve done something wrong with info newbie to site btw.
I have a 2013 gmc terrain awd with the lfx v6/6t70 and I have a problem when the transmission gets to opp temp, I get a flare shift-(as I?ve seen people call it) 2-3rd did a fluid change that helped the fluid temp I think, because it does the flare longer into the drives. I was just wondering if there?s a tune for the transmission to make the shifts smoother and (make the transmission live a happier life)-that depends on my skinny pedal useage lol. and a tune for the motor to make get some more ponies out of it safely ether on 87 or e85.
Also is there a egr valve in the lfx v6 and if so is there a parameter in hp tuner software to keep the egr closed. is it a good idea to keep it closed?

You could try playing with the oncoming and offgoing pressures of the trans to help smooth the shifting.
Playing around with the torque converter and driver demand tables can make the drive more enjoyable. Try maxing out the TCC engage tables in 1st to 3rd or 4th gear so that the torque converter doesn't engage in 1st to 3rd or 4th. Can also smooth out the driver demand tables for better throttle response.
There is no EGR valve on the LFX as the variable valve timing takes care of that. The cam tables are also a little messing/random-looking in the cruising areas for emissions so you could smooth out those too.
