4l80e Segment swap issues!!! Need help.

Hello, I currently swapped out my 4l60e to a 4l80e trans. Used a nelson Harness and performed the segment swap. used a 02 avalanche with a 8.1l 4l80 as my compare file and everything went in. I have an issue with shifting. vehicle will not shift gears in drive however i can shift them manually i cannot seem to fiqure out what is causing my issue it seems to be something in the tune i have removed trans and went through unable to find any internal issue also checked valve body and checked ohms on all solenoids. everything checked good. re-installed and checked my front VSS wiring to confirm proper placement. This is a 01 gmc sierra, was a v6 swapped in a 02 suburban 5.3 drive-train with a btr stg 4 truck cam. Trans is a 97-03 4l80e and has the Transgo HD2 shift kit. has a 10" 3200 stall converter with lockup. If someone wouldn't mind looking at my tune and maybe they will see what i am not seeing. Much appreciation. Thanks

Did you actually do a segment swap???? I see that your tune shows an 80E trans, but your DTC list still shows a shift timing solenoid code... 80E's DO NOT HAVE shift timing solenoids..... Only 4L60E's have that... Look at P0758 on your DTC list.. It should not be there. DO NOT try and just delete the code. Something else is wrong. If you did a segment swap, something went wrong as not all of the data transferred over correctly. Did you verify that the OS was the same between the tune you used for the segment swap, and your OS?????? They must match.

Typically when you do the segment swap it will match the correct DTC's that are changed with the segment swap.. Your tune file still shows remnants of the 60E programming.

Also, if I may caution you on one thing.. DO NOT attempt to drive this vehicle at all until you get all of the shift issues resolved. You can't destroy the transmission running the vehicle with the wheels off the ground... You can easily destroy the trans, or damage it internally, trying to drive it on the street with an electrical, or programming, or wiring harness issue. Don't put those rear wheels on the ground until you are 10000% sure that you have all issues resolved. If you don't heed my advice it could cost you another rebuild, at YOUR expense.. If you damage it, it is NOT the transmission builders fault-it is YOUR INSTALLERS fault-whoever that person may be. Have you scanned this vehicle to see if it is setting any DTC's? My guess is you may find that it is storing codes relative to a 4L60E.

Plausible the file you used does not work well with the segment swap feature. If possible see if there is another file out there from another vehicle to use. The repository is down at the moment but you may find that OS floating around the forum if you search the numbers in the search bar.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

That OS is known to have problems segment swapping especially from the 8.1L. Only reason you need to keep that OS is for flex fuel on the P01 PCM. Switch to a 12212156 OS and you won't have problems.
