A VIN question..

A buddy is doing an LQ4/4L80e swap into a 70 Chev Pickup. He is buying an 0411 computer set up for a 6.0l and 4L80e trans that is appropriate for a 2001 silverado 6.0/4L80e trans. They are asking for a VIN number and I am wondering if there will be any problems if I give him mine (a 2001 silverado 6.0/4L80e). I plan to do the tuning on the truck with my HP tuners setup and wonder how that will go if my truck and his have the same VIN?

I'd Like to avoid a headache. How should this be handled?

It will still require a separate license because the license is tied to the VIN and the individual PCM internal serial number. It won't matter if both PCMs have the same VIN.

you could have 10 computers with the same vin. Hptuners will see each computer as a separate computer. Yall are good.
