Hi,

Can an MPVI3 be used as a remote tuning device by authorised TDN dealers to upload a tune via the mobile app and also used by myself with VCM editor ?

No. But the tuner can send you tune files for you to upload.

Yes, MPVI3 works with TDN and tuners can sent the tunes via TDN and load it to ur vehicle from ur cellphone. This tune only works via TDN cant work with PC in VCM Editor.

The reason of TDN is protect the tuner intellectual knowledge and encrypt the tune in ur pcm and no body can read it.

When MVPI3 was released some tuners lock their files just to write in vcm editor, But as soon you write the tune, you can read again and have all info from this file. HP Tuner to protect the tuners create TDN, Is easy, can read and write from ur cellphone and the file is protected and encrypted and cant be read it after write it in the PCM.

I have 2 Tuners, one of then just use TDN only, the otherone use TDN but he share the tune file with my, Its my friend.

You are correct. I thought it only worked with the RTD devices, but that was incorrect.
