    Tcm tunning

Is there a possibility in tunning parameters that could cause the tc to engage coming to a stop but if you give it some throttle to force downshift or put in neutral slightly rev and back in drive it would disengage.

Back story I've had 5 transmissions in 2.5 years. This last one I built and did everything billet from revmax but kept the 1 year old tc and cleaned it. Before dropping another 2k on a converter I'd like to try and see if it's just from the last tuner changing all my parameters (for the good) that may have contributed to this triple disc new Hampshire tc to act like that.

Flash your stock file in and take it for a drive and you’ll know for sure if it’s the tuning or the transmission itself

No stock file. It was tuned a couple years ago by a guy in Texas and before that was a race me ultra tune on it. Its heavily modified now. Any chance anyone on here have one I could possibly use to test.

Im having a similar issue, i got talked into buying a firepunk ?towmaster? and after the third time i took it back for issues with 3rd gear starts then not coming out of first, i noticed it stacking shifts and shifting hard enough to spill my coffee.

I was then talked into buying the mm3 package from 5-9 with the trans tunes, and my truck is now a slug.

After about 10 emails back and forth trying to figure this out, and asking the tuner ?do you think my truck had a hot tune by the PO? He sends me ?a? stock file to compare to his tunes. (After asking him multiple times for MY stock tune)
He then tells me yesterday ?your stock tune was unreadable unfortunately?
?.is this tuner lingo for ?yes, someone already tuned your truck and locked it? ??
I wish this dude would have told me this right off the rip. Because i would have never downloaded a single file from him.
Ive been a painter for 15 years, and when a customer of mine shows up with a vehicle thats been repainted, the first thing i do is show them and explain to them that somebody else has already worked on this and i have no idea how well they prepped the panels or what type of paint they used. That being said i cant warranty my paint job because i have no way of telling if the previous paint job is actually stuck to the car or not.

Why would this dude not tell me FIRST THING ?hey bud, before we get started here, i can see your stock read is locked- that tells me its already been tuned. Are you sure that you want to proceed from here??

I had no idea my truck was not stock. Looks factory to me?
Is there anyone on this website who knows how to ?unlock? a tune file so that i can just have my truck back the way it was a month ago? I have no issues paying for your time and experience.
I just want my truck back because with this ?random stock file? this dude sent me to try, along with his tune package, im pretty darn confident that my 1991 tbi chevy with a 350 will walk this cummins in a race 0-70mph.
My heart sank the minute i went on the first test drive, and my heart broke when i realized he kinda bent me over here with dishonesty?
This was my favorite truck/vehicle ive ever had and now i cant stand driving it.
I never had or drove a cummins before, i had no idea that it had been tuned, i got it from a used car stealership with zero info. Just a purdy red rust free 05 cummins?

Your mm3 you just need to select the return to stock option in the ECM menu, it’ll return it to stock. It has factory calibrations stored in it for such thing as returning back to stock, you don’t need a stock file from anyone to do it
