Help Appreciated 2011 Ram 2500 5.7 small cam swap.
Absolutely my first day with a HP tuner. I am saving the base file now.
2011 Ram 2500 5.7 Hemi. I bought it with bad cam and lifters. I replaced them. No rattles when I start, thats a good thing.
- Will not idle well cold, wont when hot at all
- Can tell its running horrible while driving
- Dies at every stop, especially when hot
When I take the vac hose off passenger side seems to run better (but I know thats not the way to work)
I see the Dr. Arts basic 5 changes for post cam swap. I am going to try that this morning and see if I can get my truck to run. Been without a vehicle for a month now.
I dont mind giving out tacos (I own a taco truck) for some help.
Please guide me as a beginner to display here whats going on with my truck so some of you experts can let me know how to get her running as it should. I have the MPVI, just bought it, unboxing it and downloading my stock file now. Will be appreciative of any help and I will make a video to try and help others. I have a pretty popular tik tok channel from trying new stuff like this.
Thanks for taking the time. Below is what I did to the truck.

I will do a drive log if someone can tell me how and how to post it. I am working on doing the DR. Arts changes now.
