checked DTC, cleard DTC (not positive this worked) pushed cringe3 file.. new channels on.. (God willing) warmed up notable idle quality improvement, drove notable less backfile in exhaust.. stil has some on decel especially if engine breaking. Car ran notable cooler.. but the air temp is about 20 degrees cooler.

Post log pre and post DTC's and tune used attached.

Just a few quick and dirty changes to MAF and VVE.

Not a great day .. but still learning.

Tried out the cringer 4 file. See previous post.. for tune file. I went for the longest ride I ever have and also hit the highest speed 85 mph. I've got some troubleshooting to do I lost throttle control again. I have a DTC 2138 which is why. But not sure what made that code register. Idle seems to get too low a few times stalled once. I've got to add a Catch can I have no CCV right now and had oil mist on the rear bumper. Very fun and a little scary learning this stuff.

    New log attached.

See if this helps with the low idle dip. I did tweak the MAF & VVE slightly as well. Add Injector Duty %, Injector Pulse Width bank 1 & 2 to your channels.

I agree. I did just that for him on this updated revision.

Hard to believe it made it to 3 pages without it being fixed or mentioned.

I think that is something that happened after the first few revisions. It wasn't right to begin with, but it also wasn't as bad as it ended up being. I'd say OP probably experimented with BRAF and just forgot to change it back. At least now, he has a much better chance to make some progress.

sorry for not updating ... winter came, also I started working on a Gen 5. I am back to this now. Ive got 90% of the popping resolved by turning off DEFco.

Chasing an issue right now with it going into redused power mode. I belive it related to an electorinc throttle config. Woking on that as I type and God will will verify the fix int he morning.

Make sure your pedal wiring matches the pinout I uploaded. HPT wouldn't let me attach it as a word doc for some reason.

Thanks Rob, I am assuming wiring and pedal are good. Because with an old tune file it works fine. today I flashed the old tune updated Idle and Fuel trims, been working on it most of today. Drove for 2 hrs no Reduced Power mode.. So its something in the tune thats doing it. (I posted it to another thread( https://forum.hptuners.com/showthrea...out-of-nowhere)
